Headlight fix to access relay/junction box

In my country is a law to drive with headlights on while driving during day also.
As I have to manually switch headlights on - forgetting to do so every time, or to switch off when parked, I am ending with ticket or dead battery.

In the schematic I found I have to cut ground wire from headlight main switch, put a relay in between and induce it by ignition. Keeping the headlight switch always on, H/L should be on with ignition on, off with ignition off. As simple as possible.

But very hard to do it. I find it very hard to open left lower instrument panel junction box cover, almost impossible, as the cover is not as it is described in any service manual for Yaris 2006 SOL I found.

Any idea how to open it, or other way to access wires?
