Evap canister part number for 2007 yaris sedan

The following codes came up; P043e p043f p2401 p2402 p2419

I understand these codes coincide with needing to replace the Evap canister. The following part link lists being from a 2012 yaris. It Looks a lot like the part on my car and the part number coincides with 2007 compatibility.

http://m.ebay.com/itm/201311342228?nav=SEARCH

However, in a previous thread someone mentioned 2nd gen canisters don't work with first gens... Can anyone confirm or clarify whether or not this part will work for my 2007 sedan?

Thank you in advance.

They are different. The 2nd gen one (you have a 2nd, not 1st gen Yaris) is 77740-52090

Good to know... I Just searched eBay for 77740-52090 and oem part is like 600bucks... Ouch, guess I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a used one. We have had a lot of rain lately I almost wonder if it's the filler tube issue, I don't top it off and I run gas slowly at the pump. At 122k miles it seems kinda early compared to when others are having failed canisters.

Hey just to follow-up on this... Im coming across some parts sites that cross reference 2008-2014 Scion xD vapor canisters with 07-11 (2nd generation)... Is this a reliable assumption?

http://www.oemautopartz.com/toyota/s...omponents-scat

It seems there arnt any "yaris" Evap canisters out there but a ton of Scion xD canisters. Maybe this will also help someone else down the road. Thank you ctscott for all of your help.
