but if you really want some bass, obviously u will have to purchase another amp and a sub. 1 sub = 1 mono amp.

Or u can just install 6x9's all round...... 6x9's produce really nice clear bass.
I see.....

But will 6X9's fit? I just want good bass.....better than stock but I don't need GREAT bass ~

I'm still deciding if I want 4 speakers or only the front ones for now ~ I will definitely get an amp ~

on my GLi,
the factory setting is only 4 tweeter and 4 of those 6.5". 1 set each door(it's a 4 door car).
but the sound, is so damn good. lots of bass...and highs.
People who sit inside and listen..
they thought i have a sub, but actually it's only those speakers plus a small Amp.

my point is,
no need to upgrade to 6x9...with just 6.5" and a good amp, that should be more than enough.

ohh..btw, the brand that those German people put as stock audio system in my GLi is Monsoon..

component speakers rock

those split setup sounds awesome and there is no nead to upgrade to 6x9 if you just want good bass (better than stock)

well these are my latest pictures of my cosmetic mods...

haha more like trouble that I got into. The windows was some kids that broke into my car and stole my radar detecter and well the rear damage was some female in a red 9th gen Corolla that didn't pay attention to the road.
