Yaris Totaled -- Fire Sale

My 2008 Yaris Liftback ("Sprocket") was sideswiped by a semi going through an intersection a few weeks ago, and Progressive has totaled the car. I just replaced it with a 2013 VW Jetta SportWagen TDI, so I have the following items for sale "as is." Prices are OBO and don't include shipping. Let me know if you're interested or have any questions, either via PM or MHMoore63@yahoo.com. Reasonable offers accepted!

Aftermarket headlights - Had a second set of these for some reason. One side is missing a mounting tab included in the box as well as some extra LEDs. ***SOLD***

Stock headlights - Were only on the car a year or so. Some hazing but haven't tried cleaning them up. Otherwise in very good shape. ***SOLD***

Stock Tail Lights - Weren't on the car long either. Replaced them with TYCs which were destroyed in the accident. In great shape. Was $30, now $20

Rear Cargo Cover - Great shape, no issues. Was $45, now $35

Rear Cargo Mat - Also in great shape. Was $20, now $10

Stock Grill - Replaced with one of Garm's grills. In good shape. Was $20, now $10

Stock Radio - Replaced with a Scion unit like the one below. CD player and aux cord. Was $35, now $25

Scion Pioneer Radio - Nice plug-and-play replacement for the stock. Improvement in sound. Was $40, now $30

Fog Lights - Not sure why I had an extra set, but includes fixtures, bulbs and switch. Was $35, now $20

Stock Automatic Shift Knob - Replaced it with aftermarket. Great shape. Was $5, now $3

Stock Side Markers - Replaced with aftermarket. Includes bulbs. Was $5, now $3

VVTi Badge - Bought but never installed. $5

Owner's Manual - All documents in great shape, the leather case is starting to come apart (see pics). Was $5, now $3

Damn, that's a shame. Amazing how little damage it takes for the insurance to write them off these days. I've got too many spares in the garage or I'd offer to take some off your hands. My hatch needs new headlight housings (hazy) but shipping on a pair of those is bonkers.

Thanks, it wasn't badly damaged; but with the unibody, it doesn't take much to total it, especially a 12-year old Yaris...

Sorry, the only items I have are listed above.

Everything else went with the car when it was totaled.

That's a bit of a bummer to see after all these years! Ultimately, glad you're alright. And like I always say, new cars are fun!

Looks like I am back into the VW game after picking up this 2013 Mk6 Jetta SportWagen TDI in Austin. It has the DSG 6-speed automatic transmission, panoramic moonroof, H&R Sport Springs, Bilstein shocks, 17" Alzor 349 rims with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S+ tires, full leather interior, RCD 330 head unit w/Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Cerwin Vega amp, VW CarGo mat (a really cool idea!), plus a solid maintenance record.

I previously owned a 1996 Passat VR6 wagon.

I loved my Yaris, and enjoyed driving it for 12 years; but this thing is a completely different ballgame and I am getting better gas mileage despite driving it a lot faster!

Wow! That's an absolute beauty. Love the panoramic sunroof. Just sold our 2013 Sportwagen. Bought it with 30000 kms on the odometer and owned it for less than a year. No complaints at all and one of the best driving cars we've owned. The only reason we sold it is because we needed more room. It's still in the family though. I sold it to my stepmother.

I would buy a VW if they would put a timing chain on the engine instead of the belt... That and the 2-Big Doors were high selling points on the Yaris. Then Again Diesels are a PITA in MN at -40°F
