Questions about inspection
Here in New Jersey the only inspection is a search of the car’s computer for codes. I have a blue reader scanner and my new truck used actually has nothing in a full vehicle scan. However when you do the smog scan about half of the listed parameters Pass and the other half say “test not done yet”.
Does anybody know if this means the vehicle fails? Inquiring minds want to know!

In PA one monitor can be not ready but none can be "fail". Drive until all is pass but one is not ready and you're good. Check engine light is instant fail in pa
