DIY Polished Rim Repair???

Anyone know if it's possible to do a decent DIY repair on this? It doesn't have to be perfect just not so visible?

Is this damage on the lip?
Cause if it is, it might affect your tyre's air.

But anyway, what about a chrome 3M sticker ?
Just fill the gap with something and place a chrome vinyl. (I say chrome cause I see your rims are chrome)

^^^ The nick is actually very small located at the edge of the rim (lip), so only an aesthetic issue. The wheel's rim is polished, not chromed.

I once watched a Chris Fix video on DIY curb rash and scratches repair on alloys.
He basically just sanded the scratches down and made the surface even and then resprayed the rim. For the bigger curb damage he use some type of filler. ( Metal reinforced filler or something )

I'm going to link it, maybe it gives you some inspiration :D
