REZTON Short Ram Air Intake Kit
Just got mine REZTON Air Intake Kit.
Looks like there are too many parts. Intake quality is really awesome. Polished Aluminum, wall thickness is 2mm+ All welding is smooth. Gonna give it a shot and try to install on my Yaris. |

I can't tell what the blue coupler is for, but I think the 45-ish degree elbow is to point the air filter down to try to get more fresh air???

Ah, that's what I was thinking, but the blue coupler looks a little small. The black elbow should slip over the intake tube on the filter side, and the filter should slip in that???

Spent 3 hours taking intake apart.
It does not fit. Pictures are here MAF sensor fastening holes do not match, they are a way off. The biggest hole meant for MAF sensor is a lil big and MAF sensor does not sit airtight. Blue rubber coupler is of bigger diameter 2.5" instead of 2.25" of throttle body. Quite dissappointed with REZTON quality, definitely would not recommend buying. Low quality dissappointment lasts longer, than low price joy. |

No, looks like it is "the right one", but not precisely manufactured.
Of course you can saw off little tapped studs, mark and drill new holes, tap new thread and fasten using some kind of spacer. Get some Permatex liquid gasket to seal and install MAF sensor. But why would I bother I it must fit right out of the box. If the price was like $40 bucks I would make it, but not to pay > $100 and spend time customizing it. So already got PayPal claim in my favour and gonna ship it back. |

I got burnned buying an ebay intake for my yaris (I think it was around $50 or so) and then bought an AFE intake from garm... The fitment was nice and exact.
some things you just can't get from ebay. sucks you spent $100+ for that one. I would contact the seller. I am a seller on ebay and I know how important positive feedback is. They may just refund you or work out some sort of deal. it never hurts to ask. |
