Winter Tires for (VT/ME) - 2018 Yaris IA Sedan

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to do research on winter tires as I'm heading to central/northern Maine in a 2018 Yaris IA sedan.

My current 16" tires weren't an exact fit from the originals (said Discount Tire) and the sites I search don't have a match.

I'm going to do a healthy mix of freeway and side road driving. My concern is safety as I was in these regions last year on bald tires and learned quickly how deadly going 15 mph can be in those areas.

Anybody in the Northern regions have any good luck or recommendations for winter tires that'd fit this model?

Blizzaks for snow, Ice³ for icy conditions. Here is a list of tires for 16"OE. I would go with 15" or 14" steel wheels and tires to fit. The lower profile tires are more susceptible to pothole damage.
