Will a 15x6.5, ET40 with 195/50/15's fit?

I've found the wheel/tires I want for my Yaris (if I get it) and I was wondering if a 15x6.5 wheel (ET40) with 195/50/15 tires will fit properly. I don't want to put too much stress on the wheel bearings with the wrong offset, or rub any suspension components.

My plan is to keep the stock suspension for a while, then maybe lower it on TRD/Tanabe springs (and get a TRD sway). I want to build up the car for cornering (and commuting :D)

Thanks all!

15x6.5, ET40 will be just fine. 195/50's are far too short for your application. If you plan to lower on TRD's, then install 195/55's and you'll be just fine.

Besides throwing off the speedometer, why would them being too short matter (I think it's a 9mm height difference)? If anything doesn't that buy me more space?

With TRD springs and 195 tires on that offset wheel you don't need more space. It will be just fine. If you go wider then you might have some rubbing.

IMO 55 profile tires will fill your fenders better and give you better look with the drop springs.

If you don't have ABS, is not much of a problem. Your MPG might suffer a little as you will have a shorter ratio.
If you have ABS, some say is better to stay within +/- 3% of the OEM tire diameter for safety.

Schleppy, where are you in MA?

My set up gives me 3% off and it feels good! my MPG whent down a little bit , but who cares I'm still doing 36-39 mpg and feels a lot more powerfull and corners really good. Looks good to me, and rides 10 times better than stock with NF210s.

You are more than welcome to try mine and feel the ride.

BTW, our speedos already have built-in error across models, so don't worry about that; it's insignificant.
