Arm rest review

I had the dealer put the optional arm rest in and I give it two thunbs up. It definately helps in the overall comfort or driving and it does not take away from the cup holder in the back as I origonally thought. It looks fairly easy to install (although I had the dealer do it for free) and it seems to be stable enough for an arm rest. It seems that if you were to lean on it too hard though that it might break (if you put your whole weight into it). But for what it is I think it is a worthwhile buy.

I have it too, hehe......
Mine is a tad higher than the one on the door. That's the only not-so-good thing.

I guess that may seem a little expensive, but it is something you will use every day

There's a accessory kit for Yaris on ebay that included armrest, mud guard, and a cargo net for 139.95 + 12.95 shipping. That was a bargain, go check it out.

trdsparks has it for $70USD (+shipping)
but that seems expensive still... anyone else thought of building one?
Take a PVC pipe and add to it, i'm thinking it wouldn't be too hard and might come out better than the oem one... thoughts?
