noise during acceleration??
i got noise during acceleration a whirllllllllin' sound. on my old car that sounds like an overly advance timing setup.. and it need to be retarded a bit or run a higher octane fuel...unless this is normal for this vvti engine .. anyone!!!

in my yaris i can here that running up through the gears with the windows closed or driving beside a Jersey baricade with the window open. |

its the yaris...
its actually the yaris..i tried to see if i can adjust timing. but it seems like its all electronic...*sigh* still sounds like the timing is too advance...i dont know..??

I feel your pain, it sounds like a large tambourine in there or something, definitely sounds like the chain or something vibrating

Hmm... noise during acceleration. I'm guessing it's the sound of the piston firing.
Does the Yaris have a timing belt or a timing chain? (pretty sure it's not a "chain belt" ) ~YR
