I NEED A 15" STEEL RIM AND OEM TIRE
UPDATE: I think I located a rim, and I guess I'll just order some new tires now. Thanks to anyone who may have been interested in helping me out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anyone have have one they would like to get out of their garage? On the the way home from work 2 nights ago I was cruising along in the left lane of I-75S near Toledo when I felt this vibration. At first I was hoping it was just the pavement or maybe some kind of buffeting from all the 18 wheelers around me, but then it got worse. I was like, "Oh crap I've got flat." I couldn't just pull right over and stop because I was in the left lane and there was a lot of traffic. As quickly as I could I weaved through the 18 wheelers and was able to pull off on a pretty level spot. No problem getting the tire changed--well aside from the trepidation of having 18 wheelers blowing by me 8 feet away. I was quite sure that if anything went wrong I would not get hurt--just die quickly. I took the tire over to a shop and they showed me in the daylight that the tire was trashed and the rim was bent, too. It won't even hold air. So, if anybody has a tire and stock 15" rim the would like to part with let me know. I was going to order some new tires anyway. Too bad I waited so long.
