Trunk Lid Seal Replacement
Have 2007 sedan (4 door) that has been good reliable runner.
Need to replace the seal around the trunk lid. Replacement is on order. 1. How much disassembly is required to remove old seal and install new seal ? 2. The original seal does not contain any 'sealant' securing it to the body molding lip. It simply 'clenches' to the molding lip. Is some type of sealant or calking required when installing the factory replacement seal ? Appreciate all feedback and information. |

1. Pull the old one off.
2. Push the new one on. Donezo. =) |
