The beginning of my custom exhaust. 2.25" × 12" glass pack and a 3" tailpipe. Next step is to go to exhaust shop and have them fab me up a bend with flange to go over the axle so I can weld it all up. I want it to be bolt on so if me or my wife don't like it I can easily swap back to factory
![]() UPDATE: i have everything welded up and put on, will get pics and video next weekend. too dark and windy outside now. plus i still need to take it back off and paint it. Last edited by powder puff; 11-24-2014 at 12:42 AM. Reason: update |

As far as I know, you dont want to have your system move the exhaust slower. So, it's gotta be smaller than most of us can imagine. Smaller diameter is better than bigger, if we have to make a mistake, especially for the street use.

I've been rolling for about 2 months with no muffler and a custom axle back straight pipe. whilst you get people cracking necks to see what the hell the sound os coming from, it does get annoying in the cabin whilst travelling along the highway. hence i am soon getting a cat back system put back on, haha

I like that sturdy support for the exhaust tip.

2" straight pipe/ muffler delete. It has more clearance to the bag than it appears to. Made with scraps around the shop with the $90 flux-core Harbor Freight welder.

Im looking for a custom full exhaust for a toyota yaris. I dont want any check engine light to come on. Can I remove one of the cats and the resonator, while installing an OBX Header and Axle Back Exhaust without problems?

This is my 2009 Yaris liftback turbo, with a custom cat-back exhaust featuring 2.5" piping, a resonator and secondary cat delete, and a Tanabe muffler at the back.
Let me know what you guys think. Cold start: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iv04qB649E Warmed up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYzV3-xBAwc |

If you delete the cat and you just have resonators you're going to have to space out the secondary O2 sensor further away from the pipe to read differently than the one that's in the OBX header. If you go to a good person they should know what to do otherwise you could sort out a spark plug non fouler or I'm sure they sell 02 spacers on eBay
