No Cluster / No Start / Accessories Work
Today, I started my Yaris, drove to the store, parked, and went inside.
After returning to the car, turned the key, heard the chimes, but my cluster had not lights. Radio worked, Lights worked, all accessories were on, but no cluster. Checked fuses and my AM2 15A fuse was blown. Temporarily swapped my horn 10A horn just to get home. Swapped and replaced the broken fuse. Out of curiosity, with normal driving conditions, what caused the AM2 fuse to blow? It couldn't have blown on first start (because I made it to the store) and it couldn't have blown while driving (the ECU turns off without that fuse). What happened? |

At this point...Gremlins.
Sometimes fuses just get tired. Be thankful you could trace your issue to a fuse. Not much worse than an electrical problem with no fuse to fault. Get proper fuse in there with a couple on standby and see what the future holds.
