Directly from his site: "TOYOTA Vitz 1.5 RS"
It's the 1NZ-FE standard on the JDM Vitz RS...There's rumours of a 1.8 Yaris T-Sport being prepared for the european hot hatch market, but the same thing was rumoured for the last 6 years that the old Yaris was around in Europe...Other than one 1.8 engine swap by Activa Engineering in the old Yaris, it doesn't exist... |

Don't know who "he" is, but TMG put a 2zz in a Vitz and used it as a show car in Japan.
While Activa also did this, TMG is actually an affiliate of Toyota, so there is more of a chance that it might happen. I also read an article somewhere that mentioned a 1.8l in a Yaris coming over to the US. The quote was from some Toyota exec, but so far I cannot find the article again. However, since it looks like the next Gen Corrola is going to get a 2.5 for the XRS model, a 1.8 Yaris is more plausible. |

Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) is Toyota's European-based motorsports centre...
I will not hold my breath for the 1.8 in North America, I can't see how Toyota would do it for USA, Even in Canada, where we get the RS grade...considering the ultra-econo positioning of the car... Corolla XRS is positioned against the Civic Si, where the battle of horsepower will be fought... Unless another manufacturer decides to take one of their "loss-leaders" into the hot-hatch subcompact, I don't think Toyota will do this in North America, since the general population already complains that a Yaris fully-optioned is too expensive and would rather buy a Corolla...The Yaris is all about high volumes of sales, in the hopes that the buyers will Camry up next time... Here's hoping I am completely off-base for everyone's sake... Cheers |

Hello
Black vitz RS is a wife's car. My car is ALTEZZA BLITZ COMPRESSOR specification.
It was not found although the photograph which is not exhibited by Vitz Party was looked for. It will send, if a photograph is taken. Since tuning has not been carried out, it is ordinary Vitz. There is no tuning part which is still pleasing. |
