But it's a Ford. That a big no-no.

Its built with Fords quality control....and think of what the resale value is on Mazdas. Its a lot of bells and whistles, but its still inferior. Id buy the extra protection on it for sure!!!!

I wouldn't buy it.
All the dealer ships seem to be coping the Yaris design in one way or other.

Not even close; no cute, shortened, curved nose, no middle of the dash instruments -- just another small car. Ours is unique!

The Mazdas look awesome but as everyone else has stated, you just can't beat Toyota quality and longevity. My mother in law has a Camery with 225,000 miles on it.

Agreed. Just as soon as they redesign every ounce of style out of it, remove each desirable option, limit the color choices and then slap a Ford emblem on it and deem it "ready for the American market". |

Hack.... What hack ??

100% Incorrect.
Styled & designed by Mazda. Ford have bought the underpinnings to run their next gen Fiesta. This has been on the Market here for a few weeks, and lets just say, when you see it in the metal, its not as good as the photos. I pitty the poor person trying to get in/out the back. The slope of the roof line towards the back is extemely poor. Yaris is still better value for money. Last edited by Ferret_san; 09-28-2007 at 07:15 PM. Reason: EDIT : BEER !! |

That's too bad, since I like this car, yes I like the Yaris, but this car is cool too. I especially like the green one. Also its too bad Mazda isn't bringing the car to the U.S. Apparently there is no market which is B.S., they need a car slotted below the Mazda3, I rather buy a badged Mazda than a Ford even if the underpinings are the same.

????confused??????????????/ you are talking about the Yaris - yes?.......er.........no? the Mazda? ...........eeeemmmmmmmmmmm confused now. you live in the United States? if so you'd see the irony and folly of your statement WRT the "options" and "colors" not to mention the hypocracy. - the fact that we have no "mint green" no "canary yellow" no "interesting blue" (just boring blue) and a stock "red" - and no manual with power package and no side airfucking bags and no fog lights and no ABS - even as we special order and pray to the Virgin Mary and wait until the cows come home. and you have the gall to slam Ford for a car that is at least two years away from even showing up here - let alone in what shape or form!! Toyota has had TWO and HALF YEARS to fix their fucked up no-optioned no color choice BULLSHIT NO CHOICE for the Yaris in America!! unbelievable UNBELIEVABLE! you can type your statement with a straight face!!! I can only conclude that you bought an AUTOMATIC SEDAN (where there are limited options (unlike Manual Hatchbacks where you are told to "fuck off" by Toyota....... like Mr Ford said about color choice for his model T). |
