Removing lower rear spring perches?

Hi guys, just had my Vogtland lowering springs installed two weeks ago after removing the Eibach ones that were too harsh to ride on. I noticed that both springs sets tend to leave the car higher in the rear (my wheelgap is two fingers in the front and two and half/three in the rear). I was thinking about removing the lower rubber perch in the picture below to make the car sit lower in the back. Is it possible or this will cause too much rattling/noise/damage?

As the rubber appears to centre the spring I would imagine much rattling, squeaking and spring misalignment if removed.

You can run Energy Suspension custom spring isolators. Just measure the donut size needed. There are various diameter and thicknesses.

The OEM item is quite thin. It might be tough to find an aftermarket item any thinner.
