If the drivers side airbag deploys.........
Will I be implaled by the demonic Toyota emblem on the steering wheel.
I envision a branding on my face or forehead, or chest area. |

I'm seriously thinking of stabbing the damn things with a knife to puncture them so they won't deploy and hurt me and my passengers.

The center of the steering wheel (air bag) splits into two pieces if the air bag is set off.... the emblem will stay put, and the bag rockets out between the two now split "flaps."

That is good to know. The emblem is so shiny the sun hit it and it was the first thought I had.

i can imagine if airbags actually shot the emblem at you.. then you see yourself branded with the toyota emblem for life hahaha. airbags usually helps keep you from smashing your face into the steering wheel since it only deploys at a certain speed. I take it they've tested those speeds to where if they don't deploy your face would be in worse trouble than the bruises the airbags give you I do not suggest "sticking it to the bag" |
