Short test video, my first to YouTube

Here's a 3 minute video I shot to test my new camera mount. Shortly after the light turns green, you might hear a short period of the supercharger turning on. It looks better if you watch it in high quality.

For those who know the area, this is northbound on Pacific Coast Highway starting at Sunset Boulevard. At the end of the video, I turn onto Topanga Canyon towards the Valley.

Staging the perfect boost video takes more planning and attempts than I ever had thought.

Ok, try it now. I thought that I'd make it private so that I would not get comments from strangers on the lame video but who cares.

I thought so too. That's why this isn't posted in the boosted video forum.

Actually, it's a two year old Pentax 7.1 megapixel digital camera. I'm guessing that all digital cameras can shoot the same quality video. I uploaded the uncompressed video which was huge considering it was only 3 minutes. 141MB. I'll play with different levels of compression because it took forever to upload.

Unfortunately, yes. I have to ease into boost so that the automatic does not downshift and lurch the car forward.

I think it was the automatic exposure control that made it dark because we were driving towards the sunset. I have to figure out how to set the exposure to manual and let it stay fixed.

It's alot more fun to drive now than the video can ever show.
