Did both examples in the comparison you are bringing up have no ethanol or if they both had ethanol in the gas was it the same percentage?

I use 87 octane. I have used 85 and 86 octane in locations that have it instead of 87 octane....with no obvious adverse consequences. I do a gasbuddy.com search before getting gas and go to the cheapest station that is within a reasonable distance...and that is not a cash only station (Gotta get those air miles!)
