Vacuum
What's your vacuum at idle? Just want to see what every one else has.

+/- 15-17. You do realize only people who are boosted will have a gauge to tell you this info. Im pretty sure very few if any who are not boosted run a vacuum guage.

^ Pretty sure that's why he posted in the Forced Induction forum.

Ok thanks I ordered a new boost gauge and just wanted to see what I should be expecting in vacuum. Previous gauge did not have that.

some things which can affect vac reading at idle... electrical load, afr's, and aftermarket cams. a stock, healthy motor is about -20 inhg. If you see -17 warm with ac off and proper afr... do a leakdown test.

mine is about -23 inhg but still trying to figure out why my idle afr is soo lean. I am making a boost leak tester right now to see if i have a leak. And also my idle is rough bouncing all over the darn place 300-1000rpm.

strange, maybe your intake manifold has something to do with that. Last time I had vac that weak my piston ringland was cracked.

need alittle help. Is there another spot i can tee into for my new BOV? I want it to have its own vacuum/boost source. I am currently running everything off the intake manifold.

I had the same problem with the lean, bouncing idle condition. Some times it would even die out. I think the 02 sensor gets much hotter when located so close to the turbo. Also with the o2 sensor connected it will always be fighting the FIC and trying to correct. Now I only tune with the o2s dissconnected. My idle is still a little lean but much smoother and no die outs.

I put in a vacuum block, it makes it easy and very secure for multiple boost/vacuum lines.
I thought Golden Eagle made them, but I can't find it on their site. Here is one from Full-Race:
