Hey guys,
With the help of Bobolinko, I think I've come up with the easiest method and least invasive. Please see the attached pictures. The resistor used is a 10Kohms resistor (Brown - Black - Orange - Gold/Silver). It took only 5 minutes to put together (10 if you count the time sifting through a bag of resistors to find the right one ). With the right hand side unused headlight plug facing you, insert one spade connector into the right side of the plug and the other spade connector in the top-middle of the plug. Thanks Bobolinko for all your help and speedy responses! Greatly appreciated! I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be greatful either. Goodluck everyone and enjoy your high beam indicator!

I have a problem with my HID's. For the first 2 months since i've had them, they were working fine until now. They only come on when i have a normal headlight bulb plugged into the leftover/passenger side harness. I don't know why this is happening. I was thinking of using a wire with a 10k ohm 1/4watt resistor in the middle to plug into the to top hole on one end and the other to the right hole of the left over harness. This method i found on one of the forums is for to get the high beam light to show in the guage cluster. I'm hoping that this method would substitute the "normal headlight bulb" to get the HID's to be working as well.
If anybody has any solution and knows for a fact that any of the methods is not going to work, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! THANK YOU. |
