If you do a trade-in program I think you will end up with a lot of paperweights. Do the trades need to be in one piece?

All mods are something to be concerned about, especially if you are racing and/or making big power. Parts are going to break. I haven't seen another NST pulley do that though.

I've repaired & replaced numerous things since I did my build, sometimes more than once (turbo flange gasket, *cough *cough, must solve that problem soon)

MI pulley ftw!

Its not the power level, it was the RPM... This let go at 7200rpm. The pulley was way to thin in the bolt area - an issue Garm has addressed with his.

More recently I have been using the Beatrush pulley, spinning to 7350rpm with no issues. But be ready for the sticker shock. http://www.kamispeed.com/BEATRUSH-Cr...r.s91014pa.htm

Looking forward to getting one of the Micro Image pieces on at least one of the race cars.

Don't you read your forum? I don't know the circumstances, but the piece left on the end of the crank looks exactly like mine did: http://www.microimageonline.com/foru...ll=1#post58171

I forgot about that one. Bad memory of NST's current customer service level. I must have blocked it out.

I can't even get the guy to answer an email to buy product now. Meh.

Improvements over previous designs: 1. Beefed up center thickness 2. OEM size with 10% underdrive weight. Best of both worlds.

Garm will your pulley be a direct fit for the first gen yaris cause I am interested in buying one?

1st gen is a two-row pulley, same as the xA/xB. This is a single-row pulley.

It may be possible to use a spacer if the belts are the same width/depth. I think you would lose AC and PS (alternator is on the crank pulley).

Just a thought.

I always forget that mine is 2 row ! Probably that makes mine less prone to something like above to happen since it is twice thicker!

Does super damper make anything that fits a Yaris/Echo motor?

Bumping this thread back up... When are the m/i pulley's going to be available? There's a comment from like the 8th or 9th of last month saying they'd be ready in a week...

We had some imperfections in the grooves that I rejected as unacceptable (micro size wavers and unevenness). Working on fixing that, even if they have to run them again. The part that touches the belt is kinda important....

Soon, I promise.

don't worry about problems with these pulley's. I had the full nst kit for around 10k miles, no problems whatsoever. It makes the car feel lighter, hard to explain, but worth it 100%. Oh, and buy from MI, they're the best.
