let's hope the 2010 manual tranny car (base 3 door) actually has a tach!

pathetic if it's not standard equipment with manual transmission IMO- toyota hurts its customers with the package marketing on options. i'm 62 years old- would love a tach with my manual transmission but would be embarrassed to have the side sills and ad ons in the front and rear- that's fine for a teenager but not the mature crowd.

My 2007 S actually did not come with ABS.

Maybe it came in one of the option packages. Or maybe I'm wrong about the 2007.

I have an automatic now, but I simply cannot fathom a manual tranny car w/o a tach.

I believe the ABS on my '08 was part of a package... Prolly the package that gave me 15" wheels. It's a stripped down model with manual everything....

Its not so bad, I drove an S-10 with out a tach for 7 years. Would have been nice if it had a rev limiter though...About 2 years after owning it, it needed a new head gasket (blame to the previous owner)

<----------- Also keeping fingers crossed for a five-door w/manual. Although, I'm not sure why. I won't be buying one anytime soon. I am, nonetheless, happy it will be available.

FYI, I just got confirmation from Toyota's PR that all 2010 Yaris models will be available with a manual transmission.

Sweet!

Wow no tach AND no rev limiter? That's asking for trouble...
