JUN Auto Releases High Lift Camshafts for Toyota 1NZ-FE
JUN Auto has finally announced the release of the high lift camshafts for the Toyota 1NZ-FE engine in their website. The link to their news release can be found here. Though JUN mentioned that the camshafts can be used with the stock ECU, but that is only for the Toyota Vitz (NCP13) owners. For other models you would still need to use an engine management for optimum results. The current model released by JUN is the street specifications of 252 duration with 9.0mm lift. If you are interested in getting a more aggressive profile such as the 256/272 duration with 9.0mm/9.5mm/10.5mm lift you will still need to get in touch with GT Auto as they are the only people carrying them at the moment.

Yes, there are multiple resellers for JUN, GT Auto isn't the only one.
Further, GT Auto takes forever to answer emails (always more than a week); I'm not happy about that at all, since I wanted to spend some money with them. Did JUN finally test these in a car and there are dynos to look at?

haven't seen any dynos on the camshaft in JUN's website, but it does have a positive effect. you know me, i am doing on the street test not on dyno.

I can't spend $1600 (cost on a pair of cams) for a "positive effect". What company would do all the work of producing a product and not test it? I can't figure it out.
GT Auto is not getting back to me, either, which makes it impossible to do business with them. :: sigh ::

i think camshafts need some tuning, so there is a large variation to how aggressive things can be based on how you tune the ecu... but a baseline with stock ecu would be nice-- i wouldnt spend a dime on this til they could atleast provide some data on that
