WOW! I love it! You posted at just the right time, I'm in the process of ordering a set of 16x7 with a +42 offset myself, and now I know that they look perfect! Nice work, any rubbing at all? How much lower do you think you could go without rubbing? Would you mind posting a shot from the rear and side? Thanks!

zero rub
doesnt rub at all!
maybe with the df210 it will..the back should probably be like +35 so it sticks out a bit..the front is perfect as you can see :) Here's the rear shots |

the front should tuck in slightly with this offset, looks close, mine our +40 and they are flush with 205/50/15, I'm not so sure that 5mm is going to do it in the rear if you want them to look flush, probably more like 10 -15mm and that means you'll have to install the longer bolts, I'm considering doing this myself, you'll want to measure before you buy

i think i really want a very slight tuck on the front and rear. if i can achieve this with a +42 and a set of 5mm spacers for the back, i'm all in!

you may want to take a look at what 5mm will do, it ain't much at all but it is a tad, this will basically make the rear +37, I think 10mm will appear closer to flush putting you at +32

I think that would look great but you won't want to rotate those up front so it is your choice as far as getting spacers or purchasing them staggered.
Joey1320 what is you offset? I'm not surprised with the rubbing with the 2 inch drop and the 50 series tires.

staggered is harder....
if you stagger...harder to rotate...just use the extended studs and spacers...
5-10mm isnt really a diff in the big picture...+35 in the back or less might also hit the fenders and you'll have to roll them.. the bottom line is that it depends on how much of a drop you want...the NF210 is a good compromise for me...2 fingers all around and ZERO RUB. even bottoming out. |

15 inch wheels with 205/50/15 and you won't have to worry about rubbing

That's true! Staggering will prohibit tire rotation.
But, I've never been a fan of rotation, so I've staggered either wheel widths, offsets, and/or tire widths on some of my cars to get the perfect fit. Staggering is very common in Japan where wheel/tire fitment is considered an art. I wish we could see more of it here in the States (or Canada for that matter), and less of the one-size-fits-all approach; so many cars here look like shit with front wheels/rubber sticking out and the rear set-up all sucked in! C'mon, just because you like the wheel doesn't mean it fits the car! If you don't want to stagger, then find a wheel with an offset that will work all 'round. |
