Looking for glovebox

Was planning on trying to get a driver side glove box to do some cutting on. Just wondering if anyone here knows where they are available from. Or if any of you guys, that have so unfortunately wrecked your yaris, are willing to sell theirs.

What a coincidence. Post up if you get a price from the dealer.

You all always amaze me with your ingenuity. I can’t imagine why
you would want to cut a glove box. Care to elaborate?

I am pretty sure it is a box for gloves. Why you would need on for something other than gloves is beyond me, but mine is already packed full of gloves as is so maybe a second drivers side one would come in handy

I just got a Magellan GPS unit and want to modify the glove box lid above the steering wheel to semi-permanantly mount it where the speedometer would be in most cars. I want to have an idea of what it will cost to return to stock.

That makes sense. Is there anything YOU can't do to a car?

well I called the dealer and they told me that the "glovebox*" was on backorder(must be in high demand) but that if I wanted on it would be $192 american. I am wanting one so that I can cut and mould it for my scan guage to mount into so that it looks as if it was made for that location.

* glovebox in this post refers to the compartment located above the steering wheel on the drivers side. Mine has a spot for change and anything else that will fit be it gloves or whatever.

Hmmm this car really is well suited to glove collectors, isn't it?
