Door control receiver location for 09?
Hey guys,
Was looking to order a wireless key for my 09 5dr. I called Toyota and they said that the car did have wireless remote (and that a key was $350 + 1.5hrs labour.. ebay, here I come). To confirm the FCC code I pulled the left quarter-panel cover and there is no module there. The connector is there (blue, red and 2x white wires). I called Toyota again and had them re-check and they say that yes, it did come with wireless remote. I only have a service manual for 07 handy, did they change the location for 09? I can't imagine any reason why someone would remove the module. Thanks. Cory |

That is exactly where it would still be for an 09 and that is the correct connector for it.
PM me your VIN and let me run it to see if I see as well that it should have it.

Hey rather than sending a PM, can you enlighten us all about this.
I've got an 2005 Australian Yaris and my remote central locking has failed (inc the turn the key to lock or unlock one door and they all open/unlock etc). Its almost certainly the module... BUT I can't find it on my car. Where should I look? I believe (but could be wrong) that I'm looking for a : Yaris door control module receiver 89741-52020 Any help appreciated. |
