Queen Pelosi's Private Air Force Jet - Beyond Disgusting
Sad. It is amazing how much contempt legislators have for the country and people that they represent.

sad to see snopes showing its political colors, of course no one should be surprised. Anyone who claims to care about global warming or the environment or any of that ecoterrorist garbage shouldn't step foot in a plane. One of the planes these people use spout more garbage than countless numbers of passenger cars they deride...

true or not, this thread seems to have just a tinge of political subject matter wouldn't you say?

Come on, let's all reduce our carbon foot print so Queen Pelosi can enjoy her jet. Drive less. Walk to work.

The hypocrisy of politicians makes my blood boil.
Al Gore primarily by establishing the biggest hoax in human history - "global warming". While he uses many, many times more energy than the average citizen not even counting his constant private jet flights. 17 degrees F in Florida. 35 degrees below 0 in the upper mid-west. Yeah, it is getting a bit too warm out there. Better start living 3rd world style like these hypocrites want us to. |

This has already been debunked by Snopes, which has already been linked here. So why is anyone still talking about it as if it were real or factual?
There's nothing to see here. Move along.

Over 250 of the 400+ members of the house of representin are millionaires. the top 10-15 are worth over 100 million and the top 5-7 are worth over 250 million, all paid for by the American people and big corporation. Those figures do not include there primary residences. Nancy pelosi is not only the highest paid woman in congress but she is also in the top 5 wealthiest congressional members.

http://www.dvorak.org/blog/2009/11/1...-millionaires/ 237 are millionaires, not "over 250" 1 person makes over 250 million, not "5-7" I agree there's a problem, but here's the devils advocate question: "why wouldn't you want someone who is 'good with money' in the congress? would you rather have a bunch of people on welfare?" |

...we'd have more money to help Haiti if we weren't nation building and propping up so many parts of the world...
Oh wait! Would rendering aid be considered "nation building"? To someone it would I suppose. Hey Benngolf...why do you care about Pelosi? You're in Canada.

Hi Sqcomp. Someone sent me the info and I thought of sharing it. Although we are just your friendly neighbors to the north, we are also concerned on what goes on south of our border.

My modest contribution went out in the mail yesterday already. It was the easiest check I've ever had to write. http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...4&postcount=25 Red Cross donations amounts begin at $10 which is barely the cost of lunch around here. I know we have a lot of students on this board, but just think what the price of a couple of movie theater tickets can do if we all give. If you don't like the Red Cross, there are many other organizations trying to help these poor people. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think I'm gonna write another check and this reminds me I have to around my place and see if I can find usable stuff to give to shelters around here as well. Do the right things guys. sorry guys about the off-topic. |
