Hubcap crunch
Pulling up to see a friend the other day, and BAM! Hit the curb and crunched the hell outta my hubcab. Split it. I did that to my other hubcab on the same side awhile ago, too. Sick of it. Guess I'm just a piss poor driver. At any rate, I'm thinking of just getting rid of my hubcaps altogether. Is there any downside to this, besides aesthetics?
Thanks. |

^^^ Perhaps a Yarisworld members who actually bought a set of trim rings could give you better information.
I've seen them for sale on ebay for as little as $35 shipped. Here they are at O'Reilly auto parts: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...0171&ppt=C0345 |

I would rock beauty rings, only if I could fine center caps. Preferably Toyota logo or name. Ebay searches just don't help for the cap. Numerous sellers for the beauty rings on ebay.

I've said it before, but I love that ring look. I rocked it on my first car, which was an '86 Corolla FX hatchback. I have my original '07 caps and am planning on selling them to a hub cap place soon. If I ever blew a wheel, I'd go back to just rolling on the steelies. Not a fan of hub caps at all.

You are not the only one to crunch those plastic hubcaps. I think mine lasted through 3 tire rotations before they started falling off. They just were not very durable. I like my Sparco Alloys much better, anyway.
