2004 Yaris 1.0 5 speed gearbox

Hello to everyone,
I have a 2004 Toyota Yaris 1.0 5 speed with rumbling bearings in the box. My question is are there anyother gearboxes that would bolt up to the 1.0 engine?
Does anyone know if the 3 cylinder 1.0 litre model from 2006 on uses the same bolt pattern? Im trying minimise the time it will be off the road for and a replacement box would do that if i could find one in good order. Not easy got.

Thanks, John.

Having located a 2002 gearbox for it locally, there are a few differences on it, 1 being the speed sensor which on the 2002 is an electrical connector and on the 2004 gearbox that is in the car that is blanked off. Does the 2004 model read it from the hubs rather than the gearbox and if i leave it as it is and fit the 2002 boxwould it work away ok?. Hard to know with these gearboxes as to whats what.

Speed sensor looks different between 2002 and 2004. Best to check with a Toyota specialist to confirm full compatibility before swapping. Could save you hassle later.

Yes they are different as in that on the 2002 box it is an electric connection which on the 2004 box is blanked off so the 04 must be driven from the hub
