Lowering seat height
Is there anyway to lower the seat height for the stock seats? or is the only way to do that is to go after market seats?

if you are good at metalworking you could take both seats off and try to fabricate new mounts.

I love momentum.

I will hopefully be working with a local fab shop on a fixed lowering bracket. If/when I get it done I'll be sure to post.

Already discussed there. In that thread, I stated it would be impossible. No one ever said anything. If you look under the seat, there are two big humps of metal that rise out of the floor and the seat brackets sit on top of them. You would have to cut out those humps to make the seat lower. I think this is a pot luck dream. Would be super sweet though, I feel like I'm driving a mini van sometimes.

First question is, "what's the point?" Aesthetics, cool factor, low-rider? Seems to me the safest, most efficient place for the seat is so that the driver is looking through the windshield exactly half way up, hence the seat height adjuster. And the point is?

This guy (as do many others) have been trying to figure out how to lower the seat height in the hatches because, if you've ever sat in one, you'd realise it's very near like driving a minivan. You step down on the pedals rather than forward into them and on long journeys, that can be quite annoying. -SAV

problem with lowered seat is that steering wheel doesnt tilt that low so itll feel like steering a bus or a go cart....hmmm maybe its not that bad.
