Official Mid-Atlantic Summer 2009 Meet
First things first.
Poll what month works best for your schedule Then add suggestions for the meeting spot. Just a few ideas to get things rolling Point Look Out - if you dont mind driving to one of the most southern spots in MD. its a campground with a small beach, plenty of parking, bbq grills, EXCELLENT PHOTO SPOT! National Harbor - Haven't really been there since before they've finished it, if it's even completely finished. plenty of parking, plenty of places to get food, and they have that sweet ass sculpture of the awakening. Tysons Corner - It's Tysons Corner, if you live in MD or VA you know what Tysons Corner is. White Flint Mall - Plenty of parking and they have dave and busters. I personally think it would be cool to have a bbq at a park somewhere. |

Like the idea of a meet, but I don't have alot of days free during the summer months. June I have no days, July I have these dates opened for now 1-11, and then the very last weekend in July, that's it for me, forget about august for me.
Location doesn't matter too much to me.

I have no idea what my summer schedule is going to be, so all I can say is that I'd like to make it to this meet. Point Lookout would be a hike though

It would be cool if you guys could do yours the same weekend as Import Alliance in Nashville....
Wouldn't it be neat of all those YW members who can't make it there organize Yaris meets in their area the same day?

I voted July to help out Cutie Pie. But, all summer is good for me.
Point Lookout sounds cool. There is also Sandy Point State Park, Greenbelt National Park, Patapsco Valley State Park, and Gun Powder Falls State Park. |

sandy point sounds like an ideal location seeing as it pretty much dead center in the middle of MD, wouldnt be too much of a hike for too many people. I'll research you other suggestions too though. but sandy point seem s pretty damn good

I'm down for a BBQ or even Dave and Buster's just gotta make sure you guys have rides home. I've known the bartender there for a few years now so he always hooks it up. I remember one time he didn't charge me anything and i insisted so i can leave him a tip. So he took my CC and charged me .10 on my credit card I left him like a $10 tip
