'09 Fog light replacement
So a while back I had one of my foglight lenses shattered from what I'm guessing must have been a rock on the hiway, who knows, either way it's broken. Dealership wants over $200 cdn for the replacement which is rediculously overpriced. Now Im aware the light itself from the '09 is the same from the previous years Yaris's but just in a different housing. I see MicroImage sells the foglight kits from the 06-08's for $100 usd. Which is a pretty good deal consitering the dealer wants 200 for just one stinking light.
But anyway, does anyone just sell the light by itself? The kit seems like an economical choice but I don't really need all the other stuff that comes with the kit, like the housing, relay, wiring or even the passenger side light for that matter. I suppose I'd just keep the other light just for a spare but yeah, I really don't want to bother with all that other stuff if I don't really need to. Just thought I'd check before hand anyway. |

Bulb looks like it's $20 to me.
http://shop.microimageonline.com/pro...&categoryId=12 Edit: I probably wouldn't buy just one though. Any good aftermarket bulb is probably going to be way better than the stock 09 fogs. Best off buying 2 bulbs. |

But it's not the bulb thats broken, it's the glass cover/lense that shattered. Amazingly enough the bulb still works for now, heh, but I don't imagine it'll last much longer now that the glass cover is gone.

The lights and housings are the same, the plastic surrounds are different for the 2009 model.
