Center Console/ arm rest

I was looking around and found one on MI. I was wondering if it's well made and of any one here had any opinions about it.

I bought one for the wife's 08. She and I both like it. Our Daughter recently bought one for her husbands 06. Haven't heard weather her like or dislikes it yet.

I bought the micro image center armrest as well, and I totally love it. It is lower, which fits my arm better. Even though I didn't bolt it down... it sits solid in the center cup despite being lose. It adds storage space for a cellphone or small compact handgun in the center storage compartment. The rear cup holder is mostly useless - doesn't have enough support to hold a drink.

The (presumably fake) leather holds up very nicely. Mine shows no wear at all after ...8 months?

Goes very nicely with some Clazzios! (and I've learned not to type explicit remarks about sex here).

^ Glad you like it. It is "faux" leather on top. I didn't bolt mine down either. I wrapped it once with duct tape around the bottom and it stuffs into the cup holder really nice.

Go for the Micro Image one. I'm kicking myself daily for using the OEM Toyota one. It sits too high and causes problems shifting in to 2nd and 4th gears if you drive a manual. Plus, it is only made of cloth with less padding than Christ had wrapped around his bottom when he was born and there is no storage space in it like there is in Garm's.

I like mine also. Good to see that even though I have been too lazy to
bolt it down, that others use it that way, too.

to OP, I guess it helps to hold it in place that its a perfect fit between the seats...so the seats help make it rock steady.

Yeah, I think I'm going to get one also, maybe with the red stitching to match my red Yaris.

BTW, can someone post a pic with the strorage area/door open?
I'm a bit confused about this.

Follows is some pictures, hope the rotation gets sorted out...automatically?.

Notice that with leather seats I had to put a piece of rubber material in between the seats to prevent leather against leather rubbing sounds. I sound proofed the Yaris so I hear every little thing.

Also do note that on the picture where it is open, there is a plastic tray installed at the bottom of it. If that plastic tray is removed, there is quite a bit more space underneath - perhaps a good place to hide weed if you also put some Velcro on the lid to prevent Friday night 4th amendment violating cops from discovering that it can be removed.

The armrest came with another plastic piece, and I believe several screws. I have never found out what the other plastic piece was for: it didn't fit into the inside bottom of it, and wasn't needed on the back or under it... so I put it in a trash can together with the mounting screw.

Once I saw the difference it made to the whole appearance of the interior of my car, my thought has always been that both the armrest and Clazzio leather seats are absolute bargains. Luxury car makers charge $1500 and up for leather interior, and in all common middle class sedans you have to buy the much more expensive "XLS", "S", "SE", "SEL", "SES", "AMG" or otherwise most pimped out version of the car before you get leather seats. For mere $465 at Garms the Yaris interior becomes the same.
