Exclamation New to the forum

New to the forum.
I use to have a 2005 toyota echo, but I got rear ended, and it was a total write off!

What it looked like, then the day of the accident.

$18000 of work + labor to fix it. So defiantly a write off!

Looked around and looked around and really didn't know what to buy, so thought I'd upgrade from the echo!

I've just taken the hubcaps off, and put LED license plate bulbs. (looks super sharp at night + in the morning)

This week, I'm going to do an oil change on it, tranny service (drain+fill), clean the maf sensor, and check the spark plugs and see if they need to be changed.

I'm going to do window tint on it. Thinking of 5-10% in the back and 25% in the front. Going to also debadge it (this coming weekend I think), and replace the rear tailights to tinted black ones (anybody know where I can find some online?)

That's all for now, but if I do any other mods or anything, I'll be sure to let ya guys know! Also my yaris is a 2008 base model, with roll up windows, and no automatic locks. Has AC thoe, and P/S. Also has remote start and cruise control installed!

Sorry for the large pictures, not sure why that happend!

Welcome!

Bummer about the old Echo, but hopefully your new sedan serves you just as well!

Just did spark plugs, oil change (synthetic), tranny service, changed air filter and checked the front end and all that jazz. Man she's running every better, I love it.
Cleaned her too. :)

Yesterday, I got some MAF Sensor cleaner, and cleaned the sensor off. What a difference! I also cleaned my brother's on his Yaris for him. For sure a difference for only $7. Can't go wrong.
I'm getting the slight coolant on hood problem lol. It's very slight but I can't spot any coolant around the water pump pulley or anywhere! I noticed that my coolant reservoir is little paste the full reservoir. I was thinking, that the dealer probably recognized that it was slightly leaking, cleaned it off and just added some fluid in the coolant reservoir? (Just bought it almost 4 months ago). I hate dealerships, they are just a bunch of money taking wh*res. Glad I don't work at one anymore.

Called a toyota dealership about warranty. Still has some warranty until next year.
Going to call and book an appointment for the water pump to be replaced since I have coolant spraying onto the underneath of my hood.
BOOYAH!
