Gun owners

Any gun owners on here? I should preface that with RESPONSIBLE, gun owners. I find that the few firearm forums I have looked at are full of crazy assholes with little dicks. I figured that there might be some responsible shooters on here that aren't jack asses.

If so what do you shoot? Where do you shoot? Any competition shooters around?

I have a bunch of BB guns if that counts

As for real guns, nah... though I like to go to a shooting range every now and then... Firing an M16 on full auto is a lot harder than it looks in the movies

I have only had the pleasure of the M16A2. Three round bursts are fun, but I'd like to try an M16 on full auto.

What are the laws in Thailand?

TBH I'm not quite sure... you normally need to apply for a license which takes a week or so maybe? But that's for handguns, I have no idea of the requirements for automatic weapons... Certainly not gonna be easy

I actually only fired 5 rounds in the M16, the range charges a LOT for each round!

They probably wouldn't have one, but next time you go you should see if you can rent a Beretta CX4. It is a 9mm carbine that every indoor range I've been to allows you to shoot on the 25'. I bought one of those a while back and have been trying to sing their praise to any one that will listen.

Had a bushmaster m4A3 for a while, then a Springfield XD-SC .40, and a bunch back home on the Cape. Currently without, but I went out with my friend and cranked off some rounds on his cx4 at an indoor range... that thing rocked! What a fun, well bahaved and smooth cycling weapon! You could really click them off at a good rate of fire with excellent shot groups every time. Variants such as these and other bull-pull platforms are long overdue to be the benchmark for all assualt rifles/pistol hybrids. It's amazing it's taken this long; the benefits and charactoristics are phenominal.
cx4's rock.

I don't have a gun....yet. I really want one for the apartment, for protection. It's just me and the girlfriend. I'm not sure which kind to get. I know how to shoot. I grew up in Louisiana shooting cute and furry little animals. Plus, my dad use to take me to the range. He thought since he had guns in the house rather than lock them up he taught me how to handle and respect them at a young age. He got me a pellet gun (big power right?) for my 12th birthday. My mom was pissed. hahahaha

I'm one of those people who won't be afraid to shoot a bitch. You break into my home to harm myself or my girl, that's your ass.

Everyone that owns a firearm should be a regular gun range attendee. I shoot mine at the range all the time. Love putting holes in the target's cerebrum.

I just have an old 12 guage single-shot, my mother hand-finished the stock for Xmas one year; I also have an old .22 bolt-action that I inherited form my grandfather. That one we use to shoot up bottles and cans, although it's been a year or so since the last time we were out. Fun stuff!

You could go cheap and get a $150 Hi-Point which would be like a .40 or .45. The 9mm is sugg retail price of $130

NO I do not own one, but they are cheap and have a lifetime warranty. My uncle had one and the sights were way off out the box and he sent it back to them and they put a whole new barrel and the night sights for nothing, and gave him 2 extra clips.
