My Custom Intake
First thing I had to do was decide what I was going to do for the intake pipe. I checked the classifieds on the site and to my luck I found a used wepon r dragon intake for $65 shipped. I figured I'd jump on it, and now thanks to kapo I now have a good intake tube.
The tube was kinda gross from the wepon r sticker so I polished it up and this is how it looks: My first/next concern is what filter do I want and the second is what is the size of the couppler i'll need for the throttlebody? I know the peice that goes to the throttle body needs a 2.25" coupler, however I need to know the size of the throttle body coupler I'll need. I'd assume it's the same and I don't want to take the intake off right now (too cold out) to find out what size i'll need. My filter choice is between fujita and hks, what do you guys think would be best? Both are dry filters, however the fujita is about $20 less.

I have aFe filter elements for about $30. Really good quality dry element, same as used in the aFe Stage II intake.

Those foam filters are about the worst filter you can put on a street car. There is a reason they flow well... its because they let in dirt.
Get the Fujita, AFE, AEM or K&N. |

That's what I was wondering, thanks. So fujita it is then. Ayone know the size of the coupler needed to go over the throttle body?
