rear seat in the liftback
I am getting ready to order a Yaris liftback. One of the options in the Power Package is the 60/40 slide fold flat seat. Does this mean the standard seat does not fold flat? I am more concerned about that then the 60/40 split. I have the 60/40 split on my 98 Subaru and I might have used it once. Folding flat on the other hand is key when loading the back full.
Thanks - bwhit |

Yes, the standard seat does not fold flat. There's quite a "step" from the rear cargo area to the back of the seat when it's folded, and then it is only able to fold at an angle.

ALSO, with the 60/40 split rear seat the two sections of the rear seat move back and forth independently of each other. This helps maximize the legroom in the rear seat(s). Each of the two saetbacks can also be reclined one notch.
I love this feature. Lou |
