Pics from June 2nd Scionlife Meet-w/my yaris -Beware 56k

I had a such a great time with some of the NW Scionlife members. I was the only Yaris there, but hopefully next time I go some of ya will show up. The volcano was awesome, weather was near perfect, and the cars were all pretty cool. Got a lot of comments about my car. Many said it was the first modified Yaris they had seen. The BBQ afterwards was great, I'm still full. Thanks again thirty-nine for inviting the Yarii, I had a blast!

There were 4 or 5 tCs I believe. There were a few scions that tagged along just to see what was going on. Everyone got a kick out of the "do not stack" xB. That was my first meet ever, and I strongly recommend this type of thing to anyone who likes their car. It was the most fun I've had for some time.

I wish we could've joined you. We opted for a day at the lake instead. Even in a good MPG car, gas prices suck.

Drag DR-4 Gloss Black alloy wheels with Nitto NeoGen ZR high performance all-season tires. The wheels are 17"x7" with a 40+mm offset and a four bolt pattern, 4x(100/114.3). The wheels are 10 spoke and weigh about 16.5 lbs. The Nitto tires are 215/40 ZR17 NeoGen ZR M+S all season performance tires.

I hear ya on sucky gas prices. I filled up before the trip, and when I got to the meeting point at castle rock. Going over a mountain pass fully loaded, it took me about 6 gallons. It was 52 miles from the meeting point to the Johnson ridge observatory with a 6% grade going up. Up and down I only dropped 1 bar. Some of the Scion owners were almost empty when they got to castle rock, I could have made it there, up to the top, and almost back home on a tank. All in all I think I spent about $45 or so for gas on the entire trip.

They were super cool with it! I didn't receive one stupid remark or put-down. They said they were open to all Scion/Toyota/Lexus vehicles. They have had big jacked up toyota trucks even attend events. All in all they were a great group of people that invited me now to all their events, and will even help me arrange something in Yakima with dealer help!

Neat to see the new designed Xb in there. I sat in one last week and it has a ton more HP than original. Though I am not sure if I like the box shape better then the new design.

I organized this event, and any Toyotas are/were welcome. Heck, we even had a guy in an Audi show up!

I'll be keeping up with the calender of events with scionlife and we can easily schedule a yaris meet with them. These things are planned out well ahead of time so it's pretty easy to make room on the calender. I heard rumor of a HUGE toyota/scion sponsored event that could be happening in September, would be a great opportunity for quite a few yaris to make it. Thanks again thirty-nine for making me and my yaris feel so welcome. Had a blast!
