Code Scanners
What is the best code scanner for the Yaris. I have 2010 3 door hatch back and want to monitor the tranny temp and water temp.
I have been looking at the ELM 327 and other scanners that plug into the OBDCII/CAN port. I was not sure if I needed a CAN reader or if the OBD scanner would read the toyota specifice data. I dont mind spending $50 but I want it to work. I have an older ODB code scanner but it will not read toyota specific I can check codes and reset the MIL but I havent had any problems. I have been looking on ebay and think the ELM is the best way to go on the cheap. --Steve |

If you have Autozone stores down there, they will scan for free.
