2012 dropped.

Hi,
I just installed new springs this weekend. Very disappointed
I put some Megan Racing springs, with 1.5 drop. I get 13" from center of wheel like shown in the Tanabe tutorial, but it just looks like a normal car. I guess the spacing was so big to start with, than dropping it brought it to normal height.
Anyway, it seems to ride well, smooth on bumps but stiffer in curves, or I can imagine that

give it time, the springs settle. My MI springs seemed the same as your experience, went from "lifted" to normal but after a few months if looks lowered

I had 1.5" drop Megan on mine. Believe me, once settled you will notice the difference. This is especially true when you start whacking your head on the door opening when getting into the vehicle.
