As in a A frame towing set up .

Yes, tow equipment is available for the Yaris. I just finished adding a Roadmaster Base Plate to the Yaris. It connects to a Roadmaster Falcon2 tow bar. I purchased these from PPL Motor Homes in TX. They are all installed now and work great. I hardly know the Yaris is behind my Roadtrek (Chev 3500 class B) when towing.

Thought I would try and post a photo here to answer those who are interested in Yaris as an RV accessory.

Looks like it would work if you had a hard front bumper that you don't mind scuffing up a bit.

Just purchased a base plate from Blue Ox for Yaris. Fits behind grill with removable parts to stick through the grill for connection to tow bar. Not visible when not in use.

Towing automatic tran is not possible as it does not have oiling if engine is not running.

Do you realize with the Mirage in neutral the tranny was spinning high speeds with no fluid circulation?

I'm intetesred in a setup like this for my Yaris but have no idea what the oricing is like. Also do you lose ground clearance?

As for flat towing an AT Yaris, there's an interesting fix. I found it the other day when a guy in a silver Yaris hatchback with stickers all over it came up behind me, beeped, roared past me and zigzagged aggressively and hazardously through two lanes of heavy traffic to get about 4 cars ahead of me by the next turn. I was negatively impressed by this behavior and googled up his vanity tag, which I think said "REMCO." (REPCO?) Among several possibilities for the name I found this cool site for car towing equipment that includes an electric pump that circulates transmission fluid from the pan through the cooler and lubricating system of the transmission so it can be safely towed. With the electronic odometer, the car isn't registering mileage while towed, either.
