Hmmmm.... Interesting! Are you holding out on us Sam? I found one on eBay for $40.00 - or maybe it was $80.00 - a year or so ago. I almost bought it when I was in the turbo system 'scratch build' thought process mode. Anyway, they are one solid, well constructed piece, aren't they. I only wish I'd sprung for the ceramic coated option when I ordered my kit. Mine started to get a wee bit of surface rust the few days after it was simply installed on the car.

We've totally hijacked this poor person's thread! =D

I bought it as a pre-emptive measure so that I didn't miss out on it the way I missed out on the RPM long tube header. Zero plans to do FI on my daily driver, I can barely maintain it as NA.

You're right, we have hijacked. Largely my fault. My apologies to the op. Good to have the mani lying around, 'just in case'.

I'm still shopping around for the header. The MWR piece is a bit pricey for me though.

I did go ahead and buy all the stuff I'll need to build a complete 2.25 exhaust. Should be a pretty miserable job without a lift.

My main job now is sourcing accessories and all the hardware that my engine is missing.

I've ordered some but they haven't arrived yet. Can take photos when they do.

Here's the set I have on my spare 2ZR. Front is just a simple flat hook with an anti-rotation tab on the collar. Rear is a bit more complex because it is perpendicular to the mounting surface and has a slightly more complex anti-rotation tab.

That is a great help. Thanks!

Bought a WPN-R header on EBay last week for $280.
I can't imagine it will make much power over the stock piece but it is full stainless and well made.

That's a beautiful piece! It definitely looks like it would breathe better than the stock manifold.

Discovered a large crack in my intake manifold this weekend...I'm having to source one from my local yard.

Does anybody have thoughts on which one is best? It looks like there are at least two designs and a recall on some of them. The placement of the vacuum hose for the brake booster is the only visual difference I can see.

Dang. That sucks. Sorry to hear that. What are you doing with the cracked manifold? I seriously considered buying one from a wrecked car (assuming it's not and arm and a leg) and sawing through it to see the internal composition. I have an interest in the internal structure in relation to my water injection system. My tuner has assured me that even though it's a dry manifold - not intended for liquid injection - that the massive airflow would not allow any pooling of the injected water. We have a gigantic band saw at our school and I would basically chop the manifold in half (a cross section of sorts) and explore the internals. I would hate to do this to a fully intact manifold, but one that was damaged would make a perfect candidate. For example, one from a frontal collision that resulted in manifold damage.

Was finally able to grab a passenger side mount from my local yard this weekend. This part has been the hardest one to find by far.
I'm also struggling to source a stainless exhaust flange in the factory size if anyone has any ideas.
