Carpet for rear deck
I am wanting to remove my rear seats and build a flat deck/bed back there in place of the seats. I have seen many threads on this and I am thinking about using MDF as many others have. My question is where do I get the carpet to cover the deck I have made back there? I want it to match the carpet already in there. Any suggestions?

I carpeted the spare tire area on two of my Yaris to help with sound reduction. I purchased a charcoal colored, low pile, carpet from Home Depot that was nearly a perfect match to the existing carpet and was very inexpensive.

We have a Joann fabrics, that carries vehicle fabrics that look really nice, and are not to expensive.

Ive thought about doing the same thing except not building a deck and just putting the carpet down onto the metal floor (i know it will be uneven), then i might ziptie it down in a few places. Anyone know if this would work?

I have a hatchback, and there really wouldn't be anywhere to zip tie it down. I mean I could, leaving the back seat out, use seat bolt holes and big washers to at least hold the carpet down there.

Okay, thanks alot. I dont have the car yet. Hopefully i can buy it this weekend. I will try to figure out some way to carpet over the floor. I've always wanted a 2 door hatchback car with 2 seats, just dont like he look of bare metal on the interior.

I know what you mean. I took the rear seats and seat belts out of mine. I will be doing a custom fiberglass enclosure setup for the subs and amps so I won't even see much of my floor. LoL. The hatch does have a rear floor board cover that goes over the spare tire so that should keep the floor reasonably flat.
