Just bought a 2015 LE
We just bought a '15 LE 4dr (our first hatchback!) for my wife with ~110k km on it to replace my blowed up Charger R/T.
My current yaris (07 sedan 421,000 km) has been a real trooper and i am fairly familiar with working on it now. Now having 2 similar vehicles, if my current one (knock on wood) has anything happen to it i am wondering how much of it can be reused as spare parts for the new one. I assume my CAI will not work on the new one as the engine bay seems to be a bit smaller and the CAI is one of those stupid long ones that goes into the bumper infront of the wheel Is there anything specifically different about the 15hb from an 07 sedan mechanically? I know the engine is the same (1nz-fe) and the transmission seems to be the same. Feels a little underpowered compared to my 07 for some reason tho. any ideas? maybe the CAI and magnaflow just make the other one seem faster in my head? Also the new vehicle runs on 175/65/r15 tires and my 07 runs on 186/60/15 tires would the tires from the 07 fit onto the new one? Looking at it the bolt pattern seems to be the same 4x100 (i think) but wanted to make sure there is clearance if i wanted to put the set of winters on the new vehicle. Would there be a significant change in actual speed vs speedo speed with the minor change in tire size? My wife loves her new yaris and i am glad to be back with 2 fuel efficient vehicles instead of just one

Thanks guys,
just an update on it. still loving the car... obviously! and it is definitely the same speed if not a bit faster, my 07 just sounds hella fast, but is in fact not.
