Yaris Discontinued for U.S. Market

Well, it's official: The Yaris (yes, the Mazda-made versions) will be kaput after 2020.

The writing was sort of on the wall, but that makes the '20 hatchback (of which I've never actually seen in person) a one-year-only model. It also means this is the first time in decades Toyota won't have a subcompact vehicle for sale in the U.S. There was Yaris, Echo, Tercel, Starlet before it.
