Low prssure ac connection/...
(I connected to LOWPRESSURE closest to firewall) Thicker ac line
I tried to use diy ac coolant. But wnen putting conection on it does not snap into place or hold on. It is loose and can just be slid off.I did slide sleeve up BTW Should it not click into place like a compressor air hose connector? Maybe I got wrong stuff? https://i.imgur.com/6bCfVIn.jpg https://i.imgur.com/iTN2yya.jpg The can says replaces R134a |

It should work fine and connect on your LP hose fitting.
That said, be very careful of not over charging the system. You only need a fraction of r12a by weight than you do of r134a. I'd highly recommend buying a set of manifold gauges, they are relatively cheap from pricess auto. This will give you a much better idea of what is going on with the ac system.

The problem is the brass connection is loose on the LP connection.
It does not"click" on If I were to pull the nozzle trigger it would leak. I must have gotten wrong can...yet from what I have researched it is the proper one? I suppose I could try another type.or get some attachments to make it fit. I can still return this one aswell so no issue with that. Not going to shop as I dont use,or really need ac enough to justify cost. |
