Hey everyone,
I've been looking at aftermarket shift knob's for my car but not sure of the size. If anyone has changed their's please let me know of the size. Thank you! |

You'd be looking for one that has a M12x1.25 thread.

@xmotionx, i don't think it makes any difference so long as it's 12x1.25. not sure though. your ebay link is not the correct one for a manual, but for clarification m12x1.25 is for manual, m8x1.25 is for automatic shift knobs. http://era-one.com/blogs/part-specif...-thread-pitchs |

Ah, its a good thing you mentioned that. Mine is an automatic so I would be looking at 8x1.25. Now I have more options lol. |

I went with an OEM one from an xB. Same size and shape, but with pleather wrap and a chromed trim ring around the shift pattern. Much nice.

Yes any one you get from the local parts store or ebay will absolutely suck. But, I've been using a MOMO knob for about 6 years and 3 cars now and absolutely love it compared to stack ones. So you can get a good universal aftermarket one bit expect to pay close to $80 for the quality. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk |

I'm a big fan of Delrin knobs, I really like the texture and that they don't get hot in the sun.

this is one of the best "aftermarket" upgrades for the yaris, let alone really cheap. i believe it is available on ebay. it is also specific for toyota, which means no adapters.
the one on the right is for automatics and probably a different thread. (not M12x1.25). and yes, i got the 5-speed version on the right. both 5- and 6-speed are available from most sellers. |

here's mine, once is the stock knob which i had wrapped in genuine leather, the other one is the TRD knob. @rigaud, nice knob, unfortunately the ones like that available here all have black stitching, that's why i had mine upholstered instead. (genuine leather yet cheaper, no shift pattern though) |
